In the summer, spring and fall: mountain biking and other outdoor recreational events/activities. Equipment rental and pro shop on site. The centre can also host social/special events on demand.

Johnson’s Mills Shorebird Reserve and Interpretive Centre

Johnson's Mills is a critical feeding and resting site for the shorebirds that fly through the Bay of Fundy on their fall migration. Approximately half of the world's population of semipalmated sandpipers feed on the mudflats during peak migration (mid August). The best time to see the birds is two hours before, to two hours after high tide. Managed by the Nature Conservancy of Canada, the Johnson's Mills Shorebird Interpretive Centre is located 8 km (5 mi.) from the Village of Dorchester.

Charlo Salmonid Enhancement Centre

The Charlo Hatchery (CSEC) was built in 1938 and has been stocking New Brunswick rivers for over 70 years with Atlantic salmon and Brook trout. The hatching survival of salmon in the wild can be as low as 10%, however in a hatchery it is seldom less than 85%. Since 1998, 4,419,799 salmon and trout raised to various stages of development at the CSEC were stocked in the rivers of New Brunswick. The centre also undertakes projects, pilot studies and research which has touched all aspects of the fishery.

St. Michael's Museum and Genealogical Centre

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE This building, constructed in 1846, marks the beginning of St. Michael's Parish of Chatham. From here the administration of the entire Roman Catholic diocese in northern New Brunswick took place. First Episcopal residence in 1860 and first Hôtel-Dieu hospital in 1869. Today it is a genealogical research centre and Catholic religious supply shop.

The Centre d'études acadiennes Anselme-Chiasson, established in 1968, collects and preserves all relevant documentary material concerning the Acadians and Acadian Society in various fields (history, genealogy, ethnology, sociology, archeology, folklore, demography, geography, economics, language) and offers inventories and tools to facilitate access to this material to interested researchers and members of the public. It has the largest collection of private and institutional records on Acadia in the world.
