Canadian Military Engineers Museum

The Canadian Military Engineers Museum tells the story of the men and women who are “first in,” “last out”, and their vital role in the success of military and peacekeeping operations. The museum houses over 35,000 of the finest engineer-specific and general military artifacts. There is ample parking for cars, buses and RVs.

Cape Enrage

The Bay of Fundy is one of the Marine Wonders of the World with tides rising as much as 16.3 m (53 vertical feet) over a 12-hour period twice each day. Cape Enrage offers one of the most spectacular views of the natural phenomenon from its towering cliffs and has been a light station and fog alarm since 1838. We are proudly part of the Fundy Biosphere Reserve and the Fundy Coastal Drive Experience. Along with its natural beauty, Cape Enrage also offers family-friendly adventures!

Capitol Theatre

One of only a handful of fully-restored vaudeville theatres in Canada, the Capitol Theatre welcomes over 80,000 guests every year. In the heart of downtown Moncton, the theatre is the centre of the region's performing arts; including drama, music, dance and comedy - in both English and French. Cedar Hill Schoolhouse

Cedar Hill School is the oldest one-room schoolhouse in New Brunswick. Built in 1872, on a rocky hill in a grove of cedars overlooking the St. John River, it served the children of settlers who worked the lands and forests. The school retains most of its original architecture and charm, including the backyard ‘outhouse.’ It is furnished with books, desks, teaching aids and other artifacts representative of the time.

Centre d'études acadiennes Anselme-Chiasson, Université de Moncton

The Centre d'études acadiennes Anselme-Chiasson, established in 1968, collects and preserves all relevant documentary material concerning the Acadians and Acadian Society in various fields (history, genealogy, ethnology, sociology, archeology, folklore, demography, geography, economics, language) and offers inventories and tools to facilitate access to this material to interested researchers and members of the public. It has the largest collection of private and institutional records on Acadia in the world.

The Centre de documentation et d'études madawaskayennes (CDEM) was established to facilitate research for people interested in the development of the Madawaska region.It contains several categories of documents in various forms: students' work, theses, photographs, genealogy records, sound recordings, documents from individuals and organizations, student newspapers, "La Revue de la Société historique du Madawaska," "Le Madawaska" on microfilm and research reports on a variety of projects, including La Fouille Brayonne, À la découverte de la République and Objectif Quatre.The CDEM also has 8

Charlo Salmonid Enhancement Centre

The Charlo Hatchery (CSEC) was built in 1938 and has been stocking New Brunswick rivers for over 70 years with Atlantic salmon and Brook trout. The hatching survival of salmon in the wild can be as low as 10%, however in a hatchery it is seldom less than 85%. Since 1998, 4,419,799 salmon and trout raised to various stages of development at the CSEC were stocked in the rivers of New Brunswick. The centre also undertakes projects, pilot studies and research which has touched all aspects of the fishery.

Sainte-Cécile Church, Petite-Rivière-de-l'Île

This pretty wooden church, built in 1913, is inspired by Romanesque architecture. The interior is painted in different colors which make it an extraordinary place. Children have fun calling it “the candy church”.
