What started as a backyard pastime has now become Blackie's Veggies, a 5-ha (12-acre) farm producing top quality vegetables. "We grow everything we sell"; say farm owners James and Cecile Blackie. Every vegetable at the stand is grown on the farm and hand-picked on a daily basis by the farmers themselves, ensuring freshness and best quality. Come and try some of "Blackie's Awesome Corn". Follow the signs at the end of the road as you drive up the long farm driveway to the best vegetables Carleton County has to offer.

Tuddenham Farms

Tuddenham Farms is a family-operated, wild-blueberry farm and blueberry-wine producer located in Charlotte County. The farm was built in 1923 by Sanford Newell. The business was eventually expanded by his son, Carl. In the spirit of family tradition, Carl's daughter, Janet, and her husband, Fred, along with their 2 sons, Todd and Troy, operate the business today. With wild-blueberry fields throughout Charlotte County, the Tuddenhams offer the highest quality fresh, hand-cleaned and graded fresh and frozen blueberries.

Camping DT Inc.

Family-run campground on 10 ha (25 acres) with a 4-ha (10-acre) open field overlooking the beautiful Bouctouche Bay. Just 3 km (2 mi.) from the town of Bouctouche on Route 475. The campground features large sites and a gravel road and pad. Seasonal sites are available; firewood for sale on site. Comb the beach for a special memento or even try your hand at clam digging.

Letete - Deer Island Ferry

Deer Island is surrounded by the high tides of the Bay of Fundy, and is located at the mouth of Passamaquoddy Bay near the border of the Province of New Brunswick and the State of Maine. Deer Island has three communities – Fairhaven, Leonardville and Lords Cove. Throughout the year Deer Islanders can be found busy at fishing and aquaculture, although tourism is growing in importance. Deer Island sits about 4 km (3 mi.) from Letete, New Brunswick. Coastal Transport Limited is pleased to offer daily trips to Deer Island. We provide a brief, no charge ferry ride from Letete.

Millstream River No. 5 Covered Bridge (Centreville)

Built in 1911, this covered bridge is 29 m (95 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 1, Exit 193, Route 10 North 8.3 km (5 mi.), Route 880 North 3.2 km (1.9 mi.), onto Pleasant Ridge Branch Road.

Cape Enrage Beach

The Cape Enrage Fossil Beach is more than 7 km (4 mi.) long. It traces its way along the base of the 46-m (150-ft.) cliffs of Barn Marsh Island. It runs from the sandy shores of Barn Marsh Beach, which is just off Cape Enrage road, around the lighthouse point, across the ocean floor and out to Brae Beach, an ancient Acadian dyke. You can spend hours walking this tidal beach, hunting for fossils in the rock shale of this rough terrain. Make sure to check the tide table before venturing too far, and plan to be off the beach two hours before high tide.

Coverdale River No. 3 Covered Bridge (Bamford Colpitts)

Built in 1943, this covered bridge is 31 m (100 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 2, Exit 433, Route 112 South 5 km (3 mi.), Route 895 South 5.2 km (3.2 mi.), onto Colpitts Road, near Salisbury. (Not in service; private property)

Point Wolfe Covered Bridge

Built in 1992, this covered bridge is 29 m (94 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 1, Exit 211, Route 114 South for 41.5 km (25.7 mi.), onto Point Wolfe Road in Fundy National Park.

Dobson Trail (Riverview to Alma)

The Dobson Trail is a footpath that starts on Pine Glen Road in the town of Riverview and continues through the Albert County Caledonia Highlands to the eastern boundary of Fundy National Park. The first 2 km (1.25 mi.) of the trail bed are maintained to Park standards and are wheelchair accessible. The initial section also has a guide wire for the visually challenged. The remaining section is maintained to Appalachian Trail Standards. The trail can be hiked in 3 days and is used in all seasons by hikers, snowshoers and backcountry skiers.

Hartland

The Saint John River has been the lifeline of this town since it was established in the early 1800s. Once an important trade route for French, English and Aboriginal traders, the river today is known for leisure pursuits including fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and pleasure boating. Along its banks are roads that follow the river to neighbouring towns, with spectacular views year round. The Upper St. John River Valley Trail (part of the Trans-Canada Trail) runs through town and is used by cyclists, hikers, ATVs and snowmobiles.

Fundy Trail Provincial Park

The Fundy Trail Provincial Park is a 2,559-hectare park featuring a 30-km (19-mi.) scenic drive hugging the Bay of Fundy coast. It's a fascinating ecosystem with waterfalls, discovery beaches, a canyon, 35 km (22 mi.) of hiking and biking trails, and over 20 lookouts with soul-inspiring views. Hike to the Walton Glen Gorge observation deck or explore Long Beach’s 2.5 km (1.5 mi.) shoreline.

Mill Brook No. 0.5 Covered Bridge (Nelson Hollow)

Built in 1900, this the oldest covered bridge in New Brunswick and is 25 m (81 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 8, Exit at Nelson Hollow Drive or Lyons Road. The bridge is closed to vehicular traffic, but is seasonally accessible to pedestrians. (Not in service)

Old Carleton County Court House

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE Built in 1833 and expanded in 1866, the Old Carleton County Court House in Upper Woodstock was the first courthouse in Carleton County.

Belleisle Bay Ferry

Toll-free service operated year-round by the provincial government between Route 124 in Earle Wharf and Route 850 near Long Point. Enjoy the views while on this 1-km (0.6 mi.) ferry ride across Belleisle Bay and stop at local favourites like Bates Landing roadside market, in business since 1980 and open from June to October. For 24-hour information about ferry service interruption notices, call 511 (in New Brunswick) or 1-800-561-4063 (out of province).

Sugarloaf Bike Park

The downhill bike park was designed and built by Gravity Logic, the company who built the # 1 bike park in Whistler, BC. Sugarloaf Bike Park boasts many great marked mountain biking trails!

Digdeguash River No. 6 Covered Bridge (Dumbarton)

Built in 1928, this covered bridge is 23 m (76 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 1, Exit 25, Route 127 North 19.3 km (12 mi.), onto Tyron Road.

Long Creek No. 1 Covered Bridge (Starkey)

Built in 1912, this covered bridge is 41.5 m (136 ft.) in length. This bridge is closed but can be viewed from the end of Starkey Road, near Route 710.

Grand Bay-Westfield

Located in southwestern New Brunswick along the beautiful Saint John River, you will find the town of Grand Bay-Westfield, the result of the two, originally separate, villages being officially merged in 1998. A growing community, Grand Bay-Westfield is the gateway to the Lower St. John River Valley. The town also has a ferry landing at the end of Ferry Road where the cable ferry connects Grand Bay-Westfield with the community of Hardings Point, across the river on the Kingston Peninsula. A campground and public beach can be found in these locations, near the ferry landings.

Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve

Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve is located in the city of Saint John, on the border with the neighbouring town of Grand Bay-Westfield. Conserved by the Nature Trust of New Brunswick, this nature preserve is one of the last undeveloped properties in the area and supports a variety of ecosystems. Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve features 2 km (1.2 mi) of looping trail systems for visitors to explore. The trail leads you across Henderson Brook on a walking bridge where you can stop and take in views of the wetland. There are two trails: Stevens Loop Trail and Hamm Loop Trail.

Green River No. 3 Covered Bridge (Boniface)

Built in 1925, this covered bridge is 59 m (194 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 2, Exit 32, Davis Street North 4.9 km (3 mi.), onto Boniface Road.
