Brundage Point River Centre

Part of the Lower St. John River Passage, Brundage Point River Centre is a wheelchair-accessible waterside gathering place in the town of Grand Bay-Westfield. The Centre hosts a weekly Thursday market featuring crafts and local farm-fresh produce and food, and is available for community and private functions for parties and meetings. Take advantage of the boat, canoe and kayak launch, overnight boat moorings, and a spacious dock. Browse the area's history through informative panels along the waterfront trail.

Honourable William Henry Steeves House Museum

The Steeves House Museum is a vital stop for those interested in Canada's Confederation, the Steeves Family, and the Village of Hillsborough. In 1812 Joseph Steeves, grandson of 1766 settlers, built this home. His son, William Henry Steeves, became a Father of Confederation. The house was later home to managers of the Gypsum Company; then in 1982, it became a museum, which contains thousands of enchanting artifacts. Available: tours, genealogy, grounds, and room for rental.

Jacquet River Salmon Conservation Barrier

The Jacquet River Salmon Barrier is part of the Jacquet River Salmon Restoration project, a program implemented to help restore the salmon population in the Jacquet River. The site includes a museum, information centre and friendly staff always willing to share their knowledge.

Kite Académie René Jobin

This sport that can be practiced all year round on both water and snow. René has an IKO level 2 instructor diploma and been in the kite teaching field for over 20 years. L. P. Fisher Public Library

Lewis Peter Fisher, Woodstock's first mayor and great benefactor, left much of his wealth to be used for the betterment of the town. The L. P. Fisher Public Library constructed in 1914 is one of his legacies and still serves Woodstock as a public library.

Marshlight Theatre Company (formerly Live Bait Theatre)

Marshlight Theatre Company is committed to enhancing the cultural life of the region by providing entertaining and innovative professional theatre as well as a variety of other live performances including dinner theatre, comedy and live music. It tells entertaining, thought-provoking stories with an emphasis on Canadian scripts and plays that are new to the region, and contributes to the canon of Canadian theatre by nurturing new plays and visionary artists.

Memramcook Historical Society

Located in the former school of the Village of Saint-Joseph (1926), this museum features a collection of artifacts and photographs about the life of Acadians in the region of Memramcook, the “cradle of New Acadia”. The thematic exhibit commemorates the first Acadian National Convention held in 1881 in Memramcook. The museum is also an ideal starting point of an itinerary that takes the visitor on a journey through the rich history of Memramcook.

Museum of the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph

A permanent exhibition attests to the presence of the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph and their works in Saint-Basile from 1873. Artifacts were, at one time or another, used by the sisters' community at the hospital and in the classrooms. The museum is located in the Heritage room, under the chapel of the Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Joseph, which is a Provincial Historic Site now a seniors' residence and nursing home.

Located at exits 303 and 301 of the Trans-Canada Highway, the Oromocto Visitor Information; Interpretive Centre is a great location to stop for a rest. Visitors can enjoy various restaurants nearby or take advantage of our many picnic tables on site. Our staff are ready to welcome you to our beautiful town, and can help you plan your trip. Visitors can also take a relaxing walk around the wheelchair accessible Gateway Nature trail that surrounds the Visitor Information Centre.

Poterie Monique Duclos Pottery

The passion and inspiration that arose in Monique Duclos from the first time she worked with clay can be seen within the walls of her charming studio.Functional and decorative stoneware pottery can be found in this lovely studio. You can watch, step-by-step, how her pottery is made. Monique has been commissioned by the Province of New Brunswick to create their official Collection with the provincial flower, the purple violet. Many other designs can be found in the little boutique in her studio.

Richibucto River Museum

In 1969, a small group of Rexton and Richibucto citizens formed a committee to create a historical society and museum. Following the construction of the new interpretative building in 1997, the Richibucto River Historical Society and Museum moved to its present location at the Bonar Law Common.

Located in South-eastern NB on the Northumberland Strait, Shediac Bay Yacht Club provides full marina services to accommodate boats up to 55 feet (sail and power). Services include electrical (15/30 amp), laundry facility, pump-out station, wireless Internet, showers, washrooms and 7.5 ton fixed crane facility. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the amenities of the downtown area. Each Summer, the Yacht Club also operates a Sailing School that is recognized on a regional and national level.

St. Michael's Museum and Genealogical Centre

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACEThis building, constructed in 1846, marks the beginning of St. Michael's Parish of Chatham. From here the administration of the entire Roman Catholic diocese in northern New Brunswick took place. First Episcopal residence in 1860 and first Hôtel-Dieu hospital in 1869. Today it is a museum, genealogical research centre and religious supply shop.
